Not long ago, the infant, weakened by various viruses, developed pneumonia Doctors prescribed treatment and issued a prescription for medicine. But the unfortunate mother doesn't even have money for that. The baby's condition could worsen at any moment, and saving the child will no longer be possible.
Daniel's older brother and sister also often catch colds. Living in inhumane conditions, the little ones can only dream of a piece of bread, and they've even forgotten when they last tasted meat.

Eteri cannot work, she has no one to leave the children with. And she won't leave them, not until she loses her own life! And her beloved husband was in a terrible accident – he was hit by a car! Now he's a limping cripple with a metal plate in his leg. Sometimes, when his leg hurts badly due to the weather, the neighbors, thank them, give him a little job – to dig up the garden or harvest crops.
Mariam is 2 years old, but she is so thin that she's just skin and bones. Her face shows a deep sadness that will last for years.
The family lives in a rundown house and pays 150 lari per month.

Three-year-old Nikoloz is thirsty on hot summer days. But instead of soft drinks he finds empty plastic bottles on the table. He does not yet realize that the bottle is empty, he brings it to his mouth and tries to suck at least a few drops of it
The fridge is always empty. The baby opens it every day. He decides that since he has fridge, food must magically appear in it!
This old toy is Nikoloz's only entertainment.
Eteri's elderly parents used to help her, but now they need help themselves! They have turned into old children themselves. Despite such misfortunes and hardships, the young mother says that she will not turn from her honest path, she will not lie and steal. It is better to starve to death than to engage in fraud. Most of all, she hates stealing and does not want her children to follow such a path, no matter how difficult life may be for them.
Eteri reached out to the local authorities, but they didn’t even respond! It is our duty to take care of such families, friends! "Extend your hand to your neighbor!" says our Lord. We don’t know how He will reward us for a good deed, but we certainly won’t have to look into an empty fridge, as little Nikoloz does every day. And what the Lord fills it with is up to us to decide every day of our lives!
At two months old, babies are always smiling and laughing funny. Wish we do not lose Daniel! Wish Eteri's son survives! Smile, little one! Help is coming!
