"I don't even have the right to dream, because I am a child from a poor family" - 10-year-old Giorgi from Telavi.
This is 10-year-old Giorgi from Telavi. The child told me (the correspondent) such words that tore my heart. "I don't even have the right to dream because I am a child from a poor family." As he spoke, Giorgi's tears began to flow, and he wiped them away with the sleeve of his torn shirt. This child finds his dreams at the dump. Yes, the dreams of this angelic boy start and end at the dump.
"I've always dreamed of having a phone. I knew my dream would never come true because our family doesn't even have food. One day I saw a rusty phone at the dump. I cleaned it and took it home. After that, I always carry it with me. I pretend it's a real phone and call my friends. The children from my village ride bicycles along the Alazani River, but I can't ride because my bicycle has a flat tire and it's broken. But still I can't throw it away. I wish with all my heart that I had a new bike. I would be so happy that the whole village would hear my shout of joy. I also dream of a ball. I really like playing football. When I grow up, I want to become a football player. I had one ball for 4 years. A kind person gave it to me when I was in the first grade. But that ball deflated, and now I can't play anymore. I used to entertain myself by watching cartoons on TV, but now I can't even do that because our TV broke 2 years ago, and my mom can't buy a new one because she saves every lari for dad's medication. My father is bedridden. Auntie, when you came, it seemed to give me hope. Maybe one day my dreams will come true.
