It's hard to make wishes when your stomach is empty...

When you're really hungry and there's not a crumb at home, twin girls Anna-Maria and Anastasia, who are very much alike, sing or recite poems. That way, they forget about food and all their problems. 

Anastasia: We have nothing, but we can't think about toys when the house is empty! And there's not a slice of bread in the bread pot... we look around, hoping to find a piece somewhere... but no luck. But in reality, our dreams are not about bread at all.  We dream about something else entirely... 

Anna-Maria: We're the same, and we have the same dreams. We want toys, identical bicycles, and phones. 

Anastasia: Of course, it's better to have two of each for both of us, but we can manage with just one.  Am I right, sis?

Anna-Maria: Yes, one bike will be enough for us. We can share everything. Even a piece of bread.
