Luka (11 years old): Mom only buys tasteless groceries. I ask her to buy candies - and she says, "we can't afford it"! So, I dream that when I grow up, I'll buy 5 kilos of candies and eat them all myself! Well, I'm just kidding. I know that Mom doesn't have any money at all. After Dad died, life became very difficult. The roof leaks, we have plastic wrap instead of glass in the windows, and none of us children have shoes - and Mom has seven of us - kids! In such situations, you have to "hide" your dreams. But I can say what I need.
For school, I need notebooks, pens, and pencils... and I need a backpack. I also need clothes and shoes that don't "leak." And yet, I'll tell you what I dream about. It's a "childish" dream... or rather, a dream since childhood - I want a bicycle. I've never had one. I'll ride it myself, and I'll ride my little sisters and everyone else too! Well, I confessed after all... even though I wasn't planning to. It feels awkward.
